The conference that the Minister of Agriculture Marija Vučković regularly holds once a week with her deputies and heads of various sectors and agencies that fall under the Ministry of Agriculture was held on the edge of the incident and was only the peak of the tense situation that has been reigning within the Ministry of Agriculture for months, and that situation resulted in interpersonal relations, due to which some of the prominent leaders of certain sectors announced their departure from the Ministry to other state institutions.The whole situation also led to problems in the sector, and it is increasingly certain that the consequence of the unsettled situation will be corrections in the funds that Croatia will withdraw from EU funds due to errors in the payments of direct incentives and payments from European funds for rural development.At the course, Marija Vučković directly attacked the director of the Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development, Antun Vujić, because, as she said, "she is called out in the media for his inaction, while his name is not mentioned at all."It is interesting that, according to Nacional's sources, Minister Marija Vučković also referred to Nacional's last article in which we wrote that it was the first time that a minister or minister of agriculture met the auditors of the European Commission at the Payments Agency.The minister accused her colleagues of reporting this information to the media, even though, as she said at the course, she "happened to be at the Payments Agency at the moment when the auditors from Brussels came there."Nacional's sources claim that after that the situation at the college escalated so much that the director of APPRRR, Antun Vujić, left the session after fierce criticism and verbal attacks from Minister Marija Vučković.But the minister's accusations did not stop there, she transferred her anger to the director of the Directorate for Professional Support for Agricultural Development, Jelena Đugum, whom she also accused in a raised tone of inactivity, which is why Jelena Đugum also left the course.
