French brewers started using algae with a natural pigment to make the beer blue.Beer under the brand name "Line" is the result of a connection between a company that wants to popularize algae as a food supplement and a nearby craft brewery that was looking for a way to make its drinks more recognizable. The beer is selling well, said Sebastien Verbeke, an employee of Hoppy Urban Brew, which produces the drink."It arouses enormous interest and curiosity of the public," he said. The blue hue comes from spirulina, an algae grown in pools by Etika Spirulina in northern France. The component of spirulina that gives the blue color, called phycocyanin, is then added to the beer during production.Tasting a freshly produced bottle of beer, brewery employee Mathilde Vanmansart described it as hoppy, light and with fruity notes, while the only trace of added algae was the distinctive color.Xavier Delannoy, whose farm provides the spirulina, said that after several test batches, the brewery found a blend that customers liked. He said 1,500 bottles of the blue beer were sold between October and December last year and the brewery is now preparing to increase production to meet demand.Listen to the news of Antenna Zadar on 97.2 MHz, and online on 972.fm every full hour from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.Listen to the Morning Chronicle on weekdays at 7 o'clock.Be sure to follow us on social networks Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.Download our apps for iOS and Android devices, so that they are even more available to you at all times. The morning chronicle is also available on all these great podcast platforms:Facebook announced interesting changes regarding the privacy of Messenger usersĆorić: "The state will take over part of the cost of the gas price increase through the reduction of VAT"The retail chain offers a dream job: The beer taster will receive it at home and...About 1,700 people in France infected with monkeypoxHere are five things you believe about beer that are actually not even close to trueFrance urges citizens to wear masks again on public transportZADAR STREET STYLE There was no shortage of interesting things this Saturday either...Published names of heads of services and heads of departments;Jewelry...For one child additional HRK 300, for two 500, three 700,...Is there a solution for rude parking at the market?...A big weather change is coming: The polar air mass brings…These are the twenty worst pains that people can feelEnio about corruption in Čistoča: "They work in offices, and...Mladen Grdović is counting down to the important day, he also boasted that until...Publisher: Antenna doo Address: Trg kneza Višeslava 6g, Zadar Contact: 023/777-999, desk@antenazadar.hrCompetent regulator: Electronic Media Agency.See Antene Zadar's imprint in its entirety at this link.Send us a story, information or photo to the email dojava@antenazadar.hr.You can send the same via WhatsApp to the number 0977778888, we will be happy to investigate and publish it.We choose to be responsible! We protect your health and ours from Covid-19.We keep social distance, use disinfectants, wear protective masks and measure body temperature.
