Let's be real. Healthy cannot happen in three days. However, your body will love you a little more after indulging in a three-day detox. Integrative Health Coach Natalie Murray designed a three-day programme to help you reset, renew and restore while eating some delicious meals.

Murray encourages a better way of eating, if only for three days, to give your body a break from energy-blocking foods. This will help you stop the damage that your current diet may be causing and help you to upgrade your nutrient intake, adding in some superfoods along the way. If you are a little bloated, a little lethargic and your allergies are acting up, let's see what these three days can do to get you back on the right track.

Here are some tasty recipes you will enjoy before, during or after the three-day programme. All of which have heart-healthy fibre and a variety of phytonutrients.

Zucchini contains vitamin A, magnesium, folate, potassium, copper, and phosphorus. It also has a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, niacin, and protein. Moreover, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, and calcium assure optimal health. It may look too healthy but will dance from your spoons to your taste buds.

1/2 cup coconut milk (best if you make from scratch)

1. Sautee garlic, onions, scallions and thyme for about 5 minutes.

2. Add zucchini and heat through.

3. Add coconut milk, simmering for 10 minutes.

4. Remove from heat, allow to cool and then blend till smooth.

5. Add salt and pepper to taste.

1/4 cup peeled and diced mango

1/4 peeled, steamed and chopped beetroot

1 cup Chinese cabbage (try organic of possible)

1 cup almond milk (carrageenan free)

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth, adding ice and water if desired, to achieve the best consistency.

Beet is high in immune-boosting vitamin C, fibre, and essential minerals like potassium (essential for healthy nerve and muscle function) and manganese (which is good for your bones, liver, kidneys, and pancreas). Beets also contain the B vitamin folate, which helps reduce the risk of birth defects and can be made yummy for your tummy.

1. Finely chop cauliflower, broccoli, scallion and red pepper.

2. Whisk together lime juice, olive oil, mustard. Adjust quantities to your taste buds.

3. Drizzle dressing over finely chopped vegetables and let sit for 5 minutes before eating.

Cauliflower is surprisingly high in vitamin C. It is also a good source of vitamin K, protein, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, magnesium, phosphorus, fibre, vitamin B6, folate, pantothenic acid, potassium, and manganese. With a little knack from Murray, cauliflower salad can become one of your favourites.
